From a very early age I have been a passionate gardener who loves to spend free time nurturing plants and bringing out their natural beauty. Sometimes it is pruning, other times weeding, or simply admiring the vibrant colors of my garden, I find gardening is the perfect way to unwind after a busy week at work.

I take great pride in ensuring that every plant receives the care and attention it needs to thrive. It may be selecting the right soil and fertilizers other times it is to make sure the plants have just the right amount of water and sunlight, I am constantly looking for ways to help my plants grow stronger and healthier.

The other side of gardening that I love is the artistry that I love exploring. I can be experimenting with different color schemes or creating unique arrangements of flowers and foliage, tapping into me creativity to bring new life into my garden is so much fun.

Sometimes the best-laid plans don’t always work out. When a plant isn’t doing well, I’m not afraid to have a stern talk with it – after all, tough love can be just what they need! In the garden or in life no matter what challenges come my way, I always approach them with positivity and enthusiasm.

I am the other half of this gardening partnership – the one who builds and maintains the infrastructure that brings our garden to life.

Primarily, I set up the infrastructure such as the 12volt lighting, the dripper irrigation system, building screening or creating steps and retaining walls installing artworks. It is important to make sure everything is just right to ensure the overall effect is achieved.

I also enjoy getting my hands dirty with some good old-fashioned lawn mowing. There is something about working in the garden that provides a perfect antidote after a long week of work stress.

My role is to complement Charlottes green thumb and arty side with my own skills and expertise in construction and bringing her ideas to life. Together, we make an formidable team when it comes to creating beautiful outdoor spaces that truly come alive.

I’m a passionate writer who loves nothing more than getting my hands dirty in the garden. My love for gardening has been with me since childhood, and it’s something that I’ve carried with me throughout my life. As a professional writer, I get to combine two of my greatest passions – writing and gardening.
